In the design space, crowdsourcing is being embraced as an efficient way to tap into the mindset of the customer and mine ideas directly from target audiences. Landing pages are ripe for optimization through crowdsourcing. By crowdsourcing feedback on your landing page design, you’re provided the benefit of fresh eyes.
As a marketer, don’t sound the alarm just because you see a few negative tweets or forum comments doesn’t mean all hope is lost. Twitter is a living focusgroup. Did the agency use a crowdsourced idea to devise the talking bag concept? Sentiment may even out in short order.

Here are some random thoughts from a collection of these experiences and feedback from conference speeches: 1) Features are NOT user experiences: Warning…if you ask someone about desired user experience and they say wiki or forum, you have work to do. 4) None of the following are community platforms: Wikis, Blogs or Forums.
That way, they didn’t annoy the millions of Harry Potter fans on the forums by letting them find out first in normal newspapers. Instead of paying for a focusgroup, I’d get money from them. and crowdsourcing technology solutions, not just the money that helped. So I could trial the idea with the community.
